Designer's note
"The unique pattern-on-pattern design of these earrings is reminiscent of the process of making murukku (fried South Indian snack). Specifically, it references the journey of the flour and dough through the sieve and mould before transforming into a consummate murukku. I designed 'Murukku' to be dramatic, yet essentialist, and light in weight. The earrings express a fondness for familiar functional objects. In that sense, they are both eye-catching and quietly reflective. A perfect adornment for adding a graphical element to your attire at casual outings, social gatherings and special occasions. I recommend wearing them with the Murukku Ring."
